1948  December  Born in Mito, Ibaraki-ken, Japan
1973  March  Graduated from Chuo University, Faculty of Law
"I had a great interest in martial arts, but could not find 'the one' this time."
1978  August  Entered Gensei-ryu Karate, Gensei-juku (Age: 29)
"I was just an average karate student."
1983  October  Joined Master Sawai's school of Taiki-ken (Age: 34)
"I made rapid and remarkable progress at this martial art."
1986  July  Entitled the 5th-dan "Renshi" of  Taiki-shisei-kenpo (age: 37)
"I was the fastest and oldest student to be entitled 'Renshi.' The youngest student to receive the same title was Shihan Isato Kubo of The Japan Taikiken Association."
1991  March  Participated in the establishment of Yokohama Taiki-ken Kenkyukai (Yokohama Institute of Taiki-ken) as Vice President
1996  February  Established Taiki-ken Institute Yugen-juku
